School Age Winter Gap Camp
During Winter Break we have tons of fun activities planned for our school agers! We will be sending out our Winter Break calendar for School Age parents along with information for signing up. During Winter Break Camp, we will be doing field trips, community service activities, holiday- themed projects, and STEAM activities! Please remember, that if your child does not attend during Winter Break you are still responsible for your normal weekly tuition. However, if you have earned a vacation week that you would like to use, please see Nicole or Evelyn to apply your vacation week.
Vacation Weeks During the Holidays
Please be reminded that our current vacation policy allows for one free week of tuition per fiscal year (July through June), and families become eligible after 6 months of continuous enrollment. Families continuously enrolled prior to 2018 are eligible for the old vacation policy. Please be reminded that if your child has disenrolled and re-enrolled at any point, your eligibility date will align with your new enrollment date and you will not be grandfathered into the old policy. Please note that we do require a 30 day written notification for any changes in enrollment.
Classroom Holiday Celebrations – Friday, December 21st
We will be having Winter Holiday Parties for all age groups, including School Age, on the 21st. Lil’ Shoppers Shop School Fundraiser – Dec 3rd-21st
This is one of our most popular fundraiser for each school year because it allows students to shop for loved ones! All you have to do is bring an alloted amount to the front desk and we will take your child shopping in our gift shop. We will have tons of items available from coffee mugs to key chains. You can designate who your child will pick gifts for and how much to spend. You are also able to take your child shopping in the gift shop yourself, if you prefer! More information on this will come soon in email!
Scholastic Book Fair – Dec 10th-14th
This is a great time to select books for gifts for your children or loved ones! Did you know that for every book purchased you are contributing to a fund for books for our school? The book fair is a fun way to involve your child in picking out books, or surprise them with new books for the holidays! We hope you will come check out all the great book offerings!
Inclement Weather Reminders
We do not always follow the closure schedule of the local public schools because we don’t have to contend with the same public transportation issues as our public schools. Our goal is to be open as many days as possible to support our working parents. If we must close because our teachers cannot safely get to work, you will receive a notification via Links 2 Home as soon as the closure is announced. We also post notifications on our website an Facebook page.
Holidays
We hope you all have a very safe and enjoyable time with loved ones this holiday season! This is often one of the busiest and most stressful times of year, so please take some time to enjoy yourself and relax in the midst of the shopping and giving. We love having your family be a part of ours and look forward to a great new year with you! Thank you for allowing your child(ren) to bring us so much joy this season!
